Key Account Manager - Controlled Markets

Our client is a global beverage alcohol company. As the Key Account Manager for Western Canada, your primary objective is to manage all aspects of the national chain accounts.

Success in this role looks like:
  • Introduce and maintain sales to your client base, increasing listings, shelf presence, and secondary display
  • Plan and hit sales targets
  • Manages the four P's of marketing with your banners
  • Liaise with field sales to ensure the execution of account plans
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization to get the best for your banners while respecting the business plan
  • Represent the brand professionally and with passion in the trade
  • Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization
  • Drives the annual business planning process for their key accounts and regional programs
  • Maintains the national account budget, ensuring appropriate allocations for all existing national account customers/agreements
In order to apply, you should have most of the following in your background:
  • Post Secondary Education
  • 5+ years dealing with National CPG, Beverage Alcohol or Cannabis customers
  • Proven ability to develop key account plans and meet or exceed expectations against them
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to turn analysis into effective strategies and plans
  • Strong time management skills, good organization, and ability to handle administrative requirements
  • Strong presentation skills in the boardroom or in front of the customer
