Our Client is looking for a candidate for Key Account Specialist based in Greater Toronto, Ontario. Reporting to the Senior Sales Director, this position is responsible and accountable for sales, distribution, display, and market share at existing key accounts in Eastern Canada. The ideal candidate requires the following education, experience, skills and abilities:
  • 3–5 years of Key Account Management experience preferred (within CPG or natural health food industries)
  • Experience in developing and executing sales & marketing strategies and in building brand and product awareness.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills – Written and Verbal in both English and French
  • Strong computer skills, self-motivated and a successful record of budget management and achieving targets
  • Ability to quickly gather market and competitive intelligence and share with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiator, influencer and relationship builder with internal and external customers

The primary duties of the position include:
  • The Key Account Specialist pro-actively leads the strategic account planning process that develops comprehensive business plans to deliver all business objectives including performance and financial targets.
  • Manages key account relationships and communicates strategies on marketing, supply chain, customer care, finance. category management/isights and analytics, promotional plans etc
  • Provides field sales team with monthly retail selling and execution priorities & tools by account.
  • Participate in all major industry and key account trade shows and events.
  • Represents a knowledgeable, efficient, and professional image with customers
