MacDonald Search Group is proud to partner with a prominent university in their search for a Lecturer of Computer Science to be based in the downtown Vancouver campus. With enrollment steadily increasing, the school has made significant recent investments into the physical campus and added to its budget for additional faculty and support staff making this a great time to join their team!

The successful candidate will be joining the growing faculty of the Computer Sciences and Engineering program teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Courses will included Operating Systems, Shell Programing, Programming for the Internet, and Linux System Administration among other areas.

Who you are:
  • You have ideally completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science but an M.S. with relevant industry experience may be considered.
  • You are committed to a teaching profession for the long term and have a history of contributing to student welfare and service.
  • You stay up to date on emerging trends in CS, IT, and Cybersecurity
  • You have outstanding communication skills and contribute well in a collaborative group
