Opportunity

Our client is a leading Distributor of Lighting/Electrical products across North America. They supply complete lines for commercial & residential markets which would include; architectural lighting, hospitality & retail verticals, office & commercial/industrial space, high-rise residential, and much more. They are seeking a Lighting Specialist who will be accountable for the sales growth and development of targeted sales opportunities right across the GTA region.

Responsibilities:
  • Identifying, building, & managing regional & national account growth opportunity funnels
  • Continuing to develop and implement selling strategies w/ manufacturing reps
  • Effectively positioning and understanding the features, benefits, and value of the products to existing accounts and future growth opportunities
  • Prospecting & Identifying new retrofit projects, as well as larger Commercial Contractors
Requirements:
  • Commercial/Industrial Lighting sales experience
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategies to attract, grow and maintain account relationships
  • Project-based Lighting experience, contractor, commercial to builder chains, and retail
  • Experience in the Architect & Design world along with Specifiers
  • Knowledge of electrical, wire/cable, data/comm, automation products an asset
  • HUNTER sales mindset!
