This position is responsible for coordinating freight dispatching requirements including tendering freight requests, internal freight rate quotations, maintaining freight rate files, investigating and approving disputed freight invoices, managing claims and providing purchasing support to the Supply Chain group.

> Maintains day-to-day relationships with freight carriers
> Coordinates freight tendering to carriers for company shipments
> Coordinates the relationship between the Company and its contracted freight consultants and service providers.
> Coordinates internal freight quotation requests and follows up on all internal and external customers
> Recommends approval or rejection of freight invoices prior to payment by the Accounts Payable staff. This involves investigating charges to determine approval or rejection and if a claim needs to be filed for additional charges
> Coordinates carrier claims records and filing claims on carriers
> Performing freight rate analysis
> Providing support services to the Supply Chain group as directed, including managing purchasing of chemical goods and services for certain company principals
> Ensures all freight carriers are compliant on communications with regards to any delays on pick-up from suppliers, in transit, as well as delivery to our 3PL WH or DC, specially the Direct PO to our customers

> Strong communication skills
> Able to work under pressure
> Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel.
> Minimum of five years' experience working in Logistics
> Superior interpersonal skills
> College or university degree or relative experience
> Knowledge and experience working in the US transportation industry
