Loyalty Marketing Campaign Manager

Working out of a first-class downtown Vancouver office and reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, our fast-growing client is expanding their footprint across North America. The company’s success can be attributed to the quality of their product, the development of their people and their warm and friendly customer service.
To ensure their customers receive a best in class experience, our client is seeking a Customer Insights and Loyalty Manager to join their Marketing Team. This newly created position will drive the development of an innovative Loyalty, CRM, Digital, e-commerce and insights strategy that will focus on a seamless customer experience and optimizing investment.

Some of what you will do includes:
  • Manage marketing campaigns, determine insights using strong analytical reasoning
  • Provide insights and actionable solutions to support functions of the Consumer Marketing Plan
  • Oversee and drive strategy, segmentation and targeting of company’s future rewards program
  • Create the strategic vision for rewards members program which includes; budgeting, consumer journey mapping with info & offers and outlining potential partnerships to drive ancillary revenue programs
  • Provide insights and actionable solutions to support Merchandising & Retail Operations
  • Leverage internal and external insights and data to identify solutions to improve the economics, operations and relevancy of the store mode
  • Integrate Customer and Shopper Insights into key company initiatives along with internal data and external industry data
  • Own all corporate level reporting relative to the customer and the store model (same store sales, metrics reports, Rewards tracking, Long Term Strategy Growth Plan Progress Reports, etc.)
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Digital Marketing team
In order to apply, you should have most of the following:
  • A strong sense of initiative and leadership, with ability to operate effectively in a matrix accountability system
  • 3 + years’ experience in comparable role with a similar level of seniority
  • 2 + years’ experience using Business Objects or a comparable data analysis system
  • 1 + years’ supervisory experience in managing and developing staff
  • Demonstrated skills in developing and implementing Brand, Loyalty & Analytics
  • Proven experience in managing complex project plans and developing media solutions to optimize investment
  • Experience in presenting to a variety of stakeholders and ability to influence at all levels of the organization
  • Good understanding of relational database management systems. Microsoft SQL preferred
  • Knowledge of Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods or Franchising industry
  • Post secondary education
  • High degree of business acumen with ability to tell data driven stories and simplify the complex
