Marketing Manager - Consumer Food Products

Our client is one of the leading private label and branded food product manufacturers in the Lower Mainland. With exciting marketing plans in place for the future, our client is seeking a strong Marketing Manager to join their team to support the role out of campaigns to grow the customer base for their company and attract consumers to their products.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Supporting the role out of the next 12 months of tactical programming
  • Envisioning the next 36 months plans, strategy and execution
  • Plan and utilize available marketing budgets
  • Align external agency resources with the desired outcomes and manage external contractor relationships
  • Evaluate and optimize marketing and pricing strategies
  • Analyze market trends and prepare forecasts
  • Convert new business leads generated through marketing activities to increase brand awareness and market share
  • Work interdepartmentally to coordinate marketing strategies with the sales, customer service, finance, manufacturing and operations teams
  • Coach, mentor and develop your team, hire and fire as needed, determine the effective allocation of human resources
  • Prepare and present quarterly and annual reports to
    leadership and sales team
  • Organize and promote brands at trade shows and major industry related events
  • Keep informed of marketing strategies and trends to constantly improve marketing best practices for the organization
You should have the following in your background to apply:
  • Post secondary education
  • 5+ years marketing experience in leadership roles
  • Strong affinity for food and food marketing
  • Collaborative and growth orientated view of the future
  • Ability to work 50/50 in office and remote
