National Account Manager

The National Account Manager is responsible for growing volume, revenue, store count, and market share with specific large format grocery retailers across Canada for our range of better-for-you beverage brands to achieve company revenue, profit, and distribution objectives. This fun, fast-paced role is ideal for a candidate looking to be an important part of a dynamic, fast-growing business, and to build on their existing experience to really make their mark in our industry. This role is office based in the Fraser Valley with some flexibility for remote with around 15% travel.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Have a great time driving sales and profit growth for our business
  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain strong, positive, and productive business relationships with key account contacts and act as the primary business contact for each assigned account
  • Create, implement, and execute account-specific sales and promotional plans for assigned key accounts based on our company sales plan
  • Contribute market intelligence and recommendations for effective planning and programming to team
  • Manage all budgetary needs for each assigned chain accounts including promo spend and P&L
  • Identify opportunities to grow volume and increase share with assigned chain accounts
You should have the following in your background to apply:
  • Post secondary education
  • Be a fun, engaged, self-disciplined, and committed team player that loves to win
  • Exhibit strong and consistent personal integrity & work ethic
  • Show a demonstrated ability to build strong, productive business relationships
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in natural food/beverage grocery chain key account management in Canada as the primary sales contact
  • Possess a proven track record of strong sales performance with chain grocery accounts
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for, and knowledge of, the natural beverage/food industry
  • Have strong written & verbal communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability
