Our client is truly a national success story, that's been in business for over 40 years. Found in grocery stores everywhere, they are well known for creating delicious restaurant quality meals as an alternative to take-out or home cooking. It's so good even the restaurant industry buys from them. They are presently seeking a NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER to call on one of their largest grocery key account as well as oversee the broker network calling on food service.
Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales you will be responsible for managing existing and new customers within the retail and Foodservice sector across Canada.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Build strategic customer relationships that support the Brand Portfolio
  • Build and present customer and internal presentations in support of growth plans and strategy
  • Possess the ability and passion to build customer and consumer insights that support annual goals and objectives
  • Present regular business reviews, manage and negotiate annual promotional plans, present new product listings, and provide a category management approach in support of the overall business
  • Present to Category Managers, Sr. Directors and Vice Presidents at the retail customer level as well as the key decision makers within the foodservice sector
  • Have your customers love when you call on them

You should have the following in your background to apply:

  • Post Secondary education, with 5 plus years sales experience, category management and account management (Protein Focus in retail and foodservice)
  • 30 % travel overnight if required
  • Clean(ish) driving & clear criminal record
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor
