National Account Manager - Costco and Box Store Accounts

Our client sells high quality finished goods to Costco, Home Depot and other DIY and box store accounts across Western North America. With an expanding sales base and excellent products, this high growth environment is a opportunity.

This role is based in the beautiful Fraser Valley, out of a brand new, private office located in Abbotsford.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:

• Building a first class supplier relationship with assigned box and mass accounts
• Ensure an effective product pipeline and rotational mix through the calendar year
• Collaborate with marketing on trade marketing executions
• Work cross functionally with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure the best quality delivered goods
• Negotiate, plan and execute strategic programs and promotions with key decision makers
• Present new opportunities and ideas

You should have the following in your background to apply:

• 5 or more years experience in consumer product account management ideally with experience calling on big box, DIY or Club accounts
• Experience negotiating with key decision makers such as category managers and merchants
• Ability to communicate account and market knowledge internally and externally
• Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills, with a self starter and problem solving oriented attitude
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a winning team environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
