Our client is seeking a National Key Account Manager in perishables. As a key sales contributor, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of the business and contribute to the organizational growth. This role requires the candidate to work from a home office in the Greater Toronto Area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive account strategy for major accounts, aligning with overall company goals and objectives.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including buyers, category managers, and decision-makers.
- Drive revenue and achieve sales targets through effective negotiation, promotional planning, and product placement strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market insights to identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, operations, procurement, finance and logistics to ensure seamless execution of account plans.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reporting on account performance, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in national account management, preferably with experience in the retail perishable industry and working with Costco.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
