OSITION: National Sales Manager
LOCATION: Hybrid - 1-2 days/week in office

MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.

Our client is an established national distributor of energy products to utilities and pipelines who is on the hunt for a National Sales Manager for their Gas division. This is a net new position that has been created to add another layer to the division and will manage a team of 4 salespeople based across Canada.

The NSM has accountability for gas sales across Canada and support the team to help further penetrate existing accounts, which are the major utilities companies across Canada.

This role will require 1-2 days/week in the GTA office plus travel across Canada to support the team and to engage with customers and vendor partners.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree, sales experience either at the individual contributor or manager level, and experience selling to utility companies.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Engineering or Technical Field
  • 10 years’ experience ideally working with or selling into the gas utility market
  • Ability to own the sales process by working collaboratively with
    manufacturing partners, sales management and internal operations
  • Self-motivated and results-orientated individual
  • High degree of energy and competitiveness balanced with integrity and a personable demeanor
  • Strong communication skills
Compensation: this position offers an OTE between 150-200K, $900/month car allowance, gas card, benefits, and RRSP.
