OPERATIONS MANAGER

Today they are adding to their team due to promotion and are looking for an Operations Manager. Reporting into the COO, you will manage the manufacturing, supply chain, and Quality departments. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the facility and manufacturing equipment and put together a preventative maintenance plan.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ensure that direct reports are trained in all aspects and responsibilities of the ISO/QMS system and assess the training requirements and the evaluation of the training for the Operations department
  • Safety first company-wide
  • Maintain ERP system
  • Support the COO in all things manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality.
  • Build out and maintain KPI’s and Metrics
  • Formulate and recommend manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Work with contractors to oversee capital plans.
  • Oversee Procurement activities
  • Work with logistics team and oversee contracts with Vendors
  • Manage the warehouse
  • Review sales and production forecasts
  • Be part of the leadership team
  • Partner with R&D and Quality departments
Requirements:

  • Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain
  • BS in Industrial Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical
  • APICS or Six Sigma preferred
  • ERP is a must
  • Team player, with mentoring training and development skills.
