Operations Manager

Reporting to the V.P. the Operations Manager GM is responsible for operations and production. The operations manager's role is more specific, and their experience is in the building products industry. You will develop a thorough understanding of the company's operations and be skilled at managing and leading employees, and make sound decisions for the company. Your responsibilities will include budgeting, planning, and strategy. operations managers create strategies that increase efficiency and profit for a company. The Operations Manager will collaborate with other senior leaders to create budgets and develop business plans and will also be responsible for helping to update and develop corporate policy. The ideal candidate for this position possesses proven leadership skills, as well as a strong ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that encourage corporate growth. They manage all operations systems and processes that the company uses every single day.


  • Develop and implement new business strategies for creating or improving processes.
  • Responsible for recruitment, hiring, terminations, and performance management.
  • Develop policies, procedures, and service systems to support the company.
  • Analyze and report on the department's daily, monthly, and annual KPI’s.
  • Develop and implement strategies in order to improve financial performance.
  • Ensure that all reporting employees adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Create a sustainable supply chain

  • Diploma or degree in operations management, business, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years of leadership experience
  • 5 or more years in the manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes.
  • Experience working in a LEAN environment
  • Clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures
  • High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
