Our client is a North American provider of highly engineered wear and abrasion solutions for the infrastructure industries, globally. They are currently hiring for an experienced outside sales representative to support building their business across Northern Ontario and Quebec. This successful candidate will be a persistent/confident hunter who will be actively pursuing and building new business, in order to exceed sales objectives. The position will report to the COO and be part of an existing and growing sales and distribution team. It is expected that there will be 2+ weeks of travel per month. Industry served - Mining.

Responsibilities Include :
  • Successfully negotiate to win sustainable business in the above-mentioned market/industry.
  • Use effective prospecting techniques including cold/warm calling, scheduled follow-ups, and qualification of sales opportunities.
  • Develop and/or maintain strong business relationships with clients and others in the industry.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations in a professional and technically adept manner.
  • Be approachable and enthusiastic about resolving client inquiries and issues. Collaborate to exceed client expectations.
  • Create proposals and quotations in a professional manner that is consistent with the company brand

Qualifications :
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in sales of mining, construction, or allied industries.
  • Preference will be given to those candidates with a background in metallurgy, welding, and/or oilfield and mining-related products.
  • Good working knowledge of the sales process.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license with clean driving history.
