Outside Sales Rep - Home Improvement Products - GTA-Niagara

Our client is an environmentally friendly alternative for the building supply industry. This is a high-touch, mission-driven sales role, with sustainability and 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) elements built-in. This role can be based in the GTA as the territory covers Toronto to Niagara and Georgetown/Milton region

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Introduce product assortment to new and existing clients across the territory for which you are responsible
  • Client types would include building supply stores, hardware stores, lumber yards, independent home improvement stores
  • Advocate the mission of the company in each call
  • Physically write and transmit orders in each store call, ensure customer satisfaction, and ensure that products arrive on-time, as described
  • Conduct product knowledge sessions with store staff
  • Organize and attend customer-facing shows/demonstrations/events to educate and inform about the products
  • Be a product and company advocate in your territory
  • Uncover and engage new business while ensuring your existing business is well cared for

  • Sales and customer service experience required. Home Improvement / Power Tool industry experience is an asset
  • Valid Drivers license
  • Exceptional written communication skills including strong presentation skills
  • Competent and proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • An enthusiastic, creative, and customer-focused leader with a demonstrated track record of building excellent long-term customer relationships
