Location: Etobicoke, ON.
Our client, one of Canada's leading Construction companies is searching for a Project Director with 10+ years of experience in full-cycle, complex healthcare construction. This project director will oversee the construction process from start-to-end for $100M++ projects, including management of a full team of Project Management, Estimation, and other professionals.
The successful candidate will develop and execute project plans and schedules, ensure the highest safety and quality standards for an exciting healthcare operations project. They will have a proven track record for meetings, budgets, schedules, and scope for a demanding set of projects and clients.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience as a Senior Project Manager on complex commercial, industrial construction projects
- Experienced in managing new build construction projects valued $80M+
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, costs, budgets and current construction practices and methodology
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, understand and interpret stakeholder needs
- Ability to determine a problem’s root causes, identify short and long term solutions, anticipate patterns.
- A track record of building successful teams and promoting teamwork through motivating and coaching; skilled in facilitation, mentoring and conflict resolution
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license
