Procurement Manager

The Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure reliable supply, competitive pricing, and high-quality materials for an industrial manufacturing organization. This role manages supplier relationships across domestic and international markets, evaluates cost drivers such as tariffs and logistics, and leverages ERP systems and digital tools to improve procurement efficiency and visibility. Kelowna, BC based role.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, components, and industrial supplies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers domestically and internationally.
  • Lead RFQs, RFPs, and contract negotiations to achieve optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while monitoring supplier performance
  • Conduct supplier risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for supply disruptions.
  • Evaluate and incorporate tariffs, duties and currency impacts into sourcing decisions.
  • Work closely with logistics and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience sourcing from international vendors and managing global supply chains.
    Strong understanding
