The Regional Account Manager is responsible to establish and achieve the annual volume targets with specific regional Foodservice chains and selected distributors in the Ontario market. The successful candidate will possess a strong base of existing industry contacts in both the regional chain operator trade & the Foodservice distributor community.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with Foodservice operator chains
  • Establish new listings and develop category business with regional Foodservice distributors;
  • Provide strategic direction on potential new channel opportunities aimed at driving incremental volume
  • Effectively manage trade spend with the assigned foodservice distributor.
  • Post-Secondary Education; preferably in Business or Marketing;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Foodservice Sales; preferably with National Distributor Sales;
  • Practices “solution selling” while maintaining strong planning, analytical, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • Prior experience in selling both private label and nationally branded products, with an understanding or experience in the protein industry is considered an asset;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to travel.
