Our client is the leader in providing electrical contracting, operations, and maintenance services throughout North America. They are currently searching for a Regional Operations Manager based in Central California. The Regional Operations Manager Manager will be responsible for all aspects of multiple branch locations, customer relationship management, and building and managing a strong electrical contracting team. The Regional Operations Manager will have significant contact with customers and will need to interpret their requests and then assign appropriate resources to meet their needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage branch teams within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment including training, scheduling, hiring, ensuring compliance with company standards
- Responsible for achieving targets linked to the P&L of the Branch
- Full P&L responsibilities.
- Ensure that branches are operating at peak performance at all times.
- Develop new customer relationships
- Measure workforce effectiveness, create objectives, deliver performance reviews, and address gaps.
- Manage or provide oversight on and/or large projects while maintaining correct controls.
- Provide professional development for employees through, coaching, mentoring, and training.
- Use budgets to monitor and evaluate performance, ensuring compliance with corporate needs and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience, including electrical construction, construction project management, P&L management
- Strong understanding of state laws and legislation
- Certification of Qualification – Journeyman Electrician is an asset
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physical and mechanical aptitude to perform a full range of maintenance and manual tasks
- Detail-orientated with some computer abilities
- Great attitude with a desire to exceed customer expectations
- Experience in performing financial analysis, tracking, budgeting, and resource planning
- Previous experience managing a small, highly effective team
- Ability to multi-task & manage numerous projects simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong demonstrated stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with methodical decision making
- A high degree of attention to detail & follow-through
- Willingness to travel as necessary
