Regional Sales Manager

A true Canadian company, our client has been delivering top-quality consumer/industrial products and services to the market for over 60 years. They are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join their team in Toronto. The RSM will oversee and direct a sales team within the region, providing leadership and sales knowledge to maximize team results.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for the region
  • Develop customer plans and market strategies that are aligned with the organizations' objectives
  • Supervise and manage the sales team in the region
  • Set and achieve sales targets with each team member to support regional & account growth
  • Call on some major Key Accounts and lead by example
  • Train the sales team by conducting programs & seminars in the region
  • Coach the sales team in their use of SalesForce management
  • Review and report regional sales performance and activities
  • Assess performance through on-the-job observation
  • Recruit, hire and develop sales positions in alignment with organizational strategies and programs
Requirements:
  • Experience in B2B sales management or a High Performing Award Winning Sales Professional looking to lead a B2B team
  • Hunter Mindset and Results Oriented
  • Proven performance in developing regional or market-based sales strategies
  • Territory & Sales management, customer analysis & coaching
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Knowledge of the consultative selling process
  • Experience in using Salesforce an asset
  • Postgraduate diploma or degree preferred, or equivalent experience
