REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

A leading provider of integrated audio-visual solutions for various industries is currently seeking individuals who want to be part of their team in resolving communication challenges through effective solutions. As a digital enablement solutions provider, they specialize in designing, integrating, managing, and supporting on-site and cloud-based communication and collaboration technologies for organizations worldwide.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a regional sales team of Account Managers targeting new business opportunities in the assigned region.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Implements regional sales programs by developing field sales action plans
  • Serving as a business representative at major industry events conferences trade shows and expositions
  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs competition and supply
  • Completes regional sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
  • Maintains regional sales staff by recruiting selecting orienting and training employees
  • Maintains regional sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning monitoring and appraising job results
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Identifying valuable emerging markets
  • Accurately forecasting future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace
  • Seeking out consultants and forming working relationships with them to increase exposure in the industry
  • Forming sales strategies to keep the assigned region competitive and innovative
  • Travel to various job sites when needed
  • Other duties assigned as needed

  • Ability to formulate a sound business plan to reach targeted revenue and net profit goals

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or related field required (MBA or master’s degree is preferred)
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ sales management experience managing a diverse operation with multiple business units preferably in the Audio Visual or Construction industry
  • Familiarity with AV or other electro – mechanical systems a plus
  • Extensive experience developing and implementing business processes and streamlining operations
  • Experience with planning, implementing, and managing the activities of sales workforce through recruiting, training and best practices techniques
  • Experience in business/strategic planning and execution, including diligence, acquisition, and integration a plus
