Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and coaching direct reports (District Sales Managers) and determining territory potential for existing and new business in British Columbia. This role is integral to the sales leadership team and is responsible for driving results to exceed AOP expectations. The position is based in the Vancouver Lower Mainland and involves monthly travel throughout BC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial management of the department, including cost, profitability, the creation and management of the sales operating budget, and implementing best practices for improved customer experience
  • Leadership, development and coaching to staff, employee development, modelling the Cornerstone Values, providing flawless service to our customers, and maintaining exceptional employee relations.
  • Participating in food shows, sales meetings and promotions

Key Qualifications:

  • University/college degree in sales/marketing/business an asset
  • Minimum 5 years experience in sales management
  • 5 to 10 years experience in the food service or related industry
  • Results driven approach and ability to thrive on change in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a strong focus on coaching, development, authentic leadership and change management
  • Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with key business partners, and other stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
