Sales Executive

Our ethnic food importer and distributor client is seeking a talented and experienced Sales Executive to join their team with a focus on the growing market share and closing listing gaps with a portfolio of Food & Health and Beauty products HABA.

Working as a sales strategist with the largest retailers and some of the biggest brands in Canada, you will get satisfaction by providing key insights that drive the sales funnel with prospective customers and expand the business of existing accounts.

Some of what you will do in this role:
  • Excel in getting new business and growing existing relationships
  • Exceed sales budgets and volume targets
  • Negotiate deals acceptable to the company and effectively resolve customer challenges
  • Prepare weekly activity reports including opportunities, appointment information and other required information and report to management on a weekly basis
You should have the following in your background to apply:
  • Experience in grocery and/or HABA related sales
  • Solid understanding of the Retail & Food service sales industry & customer knowledge
  • Strong attention to details, organization, and time management
  • Excellent teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
  • Key Account and In-store account management experience
  • Strong analytical mindset and a new business development orientation
