Sales Manager

Our client is a recognized leader in the fleet leasing industry, providing flexible and innovative customized fleet management solutions and vehicle leasing to commercial and public sector enterprises. They take pride in being a part of the largest private company in Canada, with sales of over $15 billion in 2022 and a workforce of more than 49,500 employees. They are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist in leading the Prairie Region and client services’ team. This position will report to the Regional Director, Western Canada and be based in Calgary, Alberta.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Sales & Client Services Team Management and Support
  • Day to day management and support of the Prairie region sales and client service team Support with employee development, recruitment, and retaining top talent
  • Host regular meetings with sales and client service team
  • Accompany account executives on client and prospective client meetings
  • Assist account executive and client services team on preparing reports and presentations for client meetings
  • Provide support to Account Executives on best practice lease structures to meet objectives Ensure compliance on all company policies and procedures
  • Develop sales strategies to meet business goals and objectives Create and manage lead generation strategies
  • Liaise with department leaders on best practices on client acquisition and customer service strategies Prepare and review business management reports as required
  • Provide input into marketing, sales presentations, and product offerings to increase sales productivity and profitability

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • University degree (or equivalent) in a business or finance specialization
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience ideally in fleet management; Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales management role
  • Experience managing and supporting teams in remote offices Ability to frequently travel to field offices
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Strong MS Office experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Superior sales presentation skills including preparing sales presentations Outstanding written and organizational skills
  • Strong administrative skills including experience with Fleet Management software systems and processes is preferred
