Our client is a leader in the architectural Door and Door Hardware industry. With over 60 years' experience in the industry and branches across Canada, they have built a reputation of integrity and superior customer service.
Due to rapid growth over the past few years, they are adding a Sales & Marketing Manager to the team.

The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead a team to change the industry, create constant and effective communications with customer and also lead by example dealing with key accounts directly.

Some of what you will do in the role of Department Sales Manager:
  • Review, create, improve and integrate professional selling skills within the team
  • Market to clients and prospects through many channels including social media
  • Own, build and manage the database in the CRM to effectively market to clients and prospects
  • Build new channels and expand into new markets
  • Utilize and deploy new and emerging technologies to help support sales growth
  • Create, organize and increase throughput with lean initiatives
  • Create proactive selling processes
Some of the Key Responsibilities
  • Plan & organize sales strategy by identifying customer segments & allocating resources to win business
  • Supervise, coach, mentor, train and support staff and help them meet their goals
  • Be aware of market conditions and work with sales staff to ensure competitiveness to help win profitable business
  • Have a working understanding of products and offerings
  • Maintain a clean work environment and a culture of safety
What is required for this role:
  • Degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years’ experience in sales-preferably in construction and/or architectural hardware
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office and CRM experience
  • Dynamic, flexible, goal-oriented and results-focused leadership
  • Vison for change and the ability to strategically and tactically make it happen in a team environment
