MacDonald Search Group is looking for sales professionals in the Greater Edmonton Area with at least 2 years of experience calling on retail or small-format stores.

We have three roles across three recreational categories: Beverage Alcohol, Cannabis, and inhalable. In all of these roles, you will be an ambassador for the brand, developing existing business, and prospecting new distribution.

Some of what you will do in these roles include:
  • Develop and execute a weekly call plan to maximize your effectiveness in the defined territory
  • Ensure execution of trade programming across the market
  • Increase distribution through fact-based and relationship selling
  • Educate key stakeholders on the brands
  • Create brand awareness at community events, and trade shows
  • Develop relationships and manage independent regional accounts
In order to apply, you should have the following in your background:
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Formal sales training
  • Post-secondary education, with a strong ability to communicate and utilize MS Office
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Able to travel up to 25%
The remuneration packages vary but all offer a base salary, car allowance, annual bonus, and benefits. This position does require attendance at some evening and weekend events.
