Established in 1983, our client has become one of the leading independent fine wine agencies in Western Canada. With a portfolio that represents a collection of some of the world’s most iconic and sought-after wine brands, they represent an exciting range of categories and segments.

They are currently seeking a full time Sales Representative who is results driven, and passionate about wine! The ideal candidate is based in the Fraser Valley and is responsible for both retail and on-premise sales in their assigned territory.

This role offers a competitive base salary, commission, car allowance, 3 weeks holiday to start, and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make sales and promotional visits in the defined territory to licensees, retail stores (both government and private)
  • Attend meetings, trade shows and promotional events as and when required
  • Provide wine consultation and make sales to private groups, licensed trade, special occasions, conventions, etc by way of educational seminars, discussions and tastings
  • Manage all expenses and promotional budgets
  • Keep proper records of receipt and distribution of all promotional wine samples
  • Log sales activities in CRM daily

Key Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education from a recognized College or University
  • 1-3+ years of experience in a consumer goods industry in a sales position. Past experience working in the Western Canadian wine market preferred
  • Wine knowledge and a passion for wine is a must. Minimum of WSET level 2 (or equivalent) is required; level 3 preferred
  • Strong business acumen and ability to build strong relationships
  • Team player mindset
  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales execution strategies as well as market and competitor analysis
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrates leadership, initiative and a drive to win
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
