Our client is a leading local wine and spirits agency who represents a portfolio of thoughtful producers from BC and around the world.

They are currently looking to add a Key Account Manager to their team, responsible for managing chain accounts as well as key LRS and Licensee accounts in Vancouver, BC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales and results by achieving sales KPI’s
  • Promote brands by participating in consumer, trade and media events as required
  • Attend weekly and quarterly sales team meetings as required
  • Influence accounts by using fact-based selling and business acumen
  • Maintain and track accurate account data/customer information
  • Activity reporting as required outlining sales calls – wins and challenges
  • Have a keen understanding and operate as a brand ambassador for the portfolio
  • Operate within assigned budgets

Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in the beverage industry, beverage alcohol industry an asset
  • Formal wine & spirits education is an asset, WSET 2 ideal
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicles
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Serving It Right Certification
  • Results driven
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge and passion for the beverage alcohol industry
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work proactively with minimal supervision
