Our client is a leading manufacturing company in their industry, committed to innovation and quality based out of Abbotsford, BC.
The Senior Accountant oversees financial reporting, cost accounting, and compliance within a manufacturing environment, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and general ledger reconciliations.
- Maintain cost accounting systems and track manufacturing costs.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.
- Support audits and improve internal controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA, CMA preferred).
- 4-6+ years of experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
