What you will be doing:
- Develop, implement lead, and evaluate a comprehensive campus wide strategic Enrollment Management plan to reach enrollment goals for student recruitment and retention through strategies and initiatives for both domestic and international markets.
- Monitor external competitive and market trends to support evidence-based decision making and best practices
- Develop and implement a comprehensive brand development strategy for the Vancouver Campus and its programs.
- Assumes a lead role in the development of campus recruiting, admissions, and retention goals and strategies related to all phases of policies, operations, and targets.
- Provides day to day supervision and direction of the Admissions and Marketing and Recruitment departments
- Ensure effective integration of the recruiting and admissions functions
- Develops staff through supportive and mentoring leadership.
- Determines allocation of staff resources for recruitment, sets broad polices and guidelines regarding recruitment activities and outreach, and adjusts as required due to time and budgetary restraints.
- With the support of the Vice President, Enrollment Management, works collaboratively with academic departments/schools to ensure compliance with school policy and leading practices.
- Work alongside Deans, Directors, and Vancouver Campus leadership to achieve campus and program level recruitment goals.
- Manages and evaluates effectiveness of Marketing and Recruitment publications and other communications materials for prospective and admitted students.
- Determines overall budget for admissions and recruitment teams; reviews and approves financial proposals from direct reporting leaders; has significant fiscal responsibilities that require frequent interaction with executive leaders.
- Stays up to date on new admissions and recruitment opportunities
- Bachelor's degree required in higher education student affairs, business, public policy, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7 years of experience preferred in higher education administration in an area related to admissions, recruitment, and/or enrollment management.
- Must have demonstrated experience managing complex business processes and operations, plus a minimum of 5-7 years managing and supervising professional and support staff.
- Proficient communication skills required; Ability to effectively represent the University with external constituents.
- Must possess effective leadership and team building skills
- Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion.
- Ability to interprets provincial, and institutional rules and regulations.
