Reporting to the Human Resources Leader for Western Canada, this role is key to supporting management and front-line employees in BC for this very people and culture focused organization.

What you will be doing:
  • Providing strategic insight to management teams in areas of talent management, employee relations, and communications
  • Supporting recruitment and retention initiatives
  • Partnering with leadership teams to guide employee engagement strategies
  • Communicating and executing change management strategies
  • Coaching performance management strategies
  • Acting as a trusted “go-to” person for front line employees to discretely share their concerns and ensuring effective actions are taken toward resolution
  • Leading investigations into ethical violations
  • Supporting disability management cases and return to work planning
Who you are:
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or otherwise relevant discipline and possess your CPHR designation
  • You have at least five years of broad generalist human resources experience – ideally in a multi-unit retail, service or wholesale focused environment
  • You have experience in the areas of talent management, conducting workplace investigations, developing internal communication plans, and coaching management on HR related strategies
  • You have outstanding communication skills, are organized, and are a highly strategic thinker
  • You have a BC driver’s license and are available for occasional overnight travel throughout BC
