We are partnering with a North American leader in the aggregates sector to find a Senior Mining Engineer to support underground operations at a limestone mine in Western Canada. This is a hands-on, site-based role focused on optimizing underground mining performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence.

What you'll do:

Support underground mine planning, scheduling, and production optimization
Partner with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance and efficiency
Conduct geotechnical assessments and contribute to ground control strategies
Monitor and analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support reporting initiatives
Contribute to continuous improvement, safety programs, and environmental stewardship efforts
Site-based role at an underground mining operation (Mon-Thurs, 10hrs, no FIFO)

Who you are:

Strong understanding of underground mining methods and safety practices
Experience with mine planning software and data analysis tools
Proven ability to collaborate across operations, engineering, and maintenance teams
Solid problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
