SERVICE COORDINATOR

Our client is a leader in the engineered pump and compressor solutions. They are looking for a Service Coordinator in Airdrie, Alberta. You will combine your attributes alongside our leadership team, support professionals and skilled trades people, and maintain our first-rate skill level and product offerings. The Service Coordinator is responsible for scheduling the service technician team, providing technical support to customers and internal staff, sourcing and coordinating all the parts and equipment required for each job, and achieving the required company metric’s associated with this role.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule service jobs for both shop and field technicians.
  • Review customer requirements and determine priority status of requests.
  • Assign jobs to service technicians.
  • Source and procure parts as required to complete service and repairs.
  • Create purchase orders and part ID’s within Visual software to ensure proper inventory control.
  • Prepare service quotes for customers.
  • Develop a strong technical competency with respect to products.
  • Ensure company work alone policy is followed and all work is planned to be performed in a safe manner and in accordance with company and customer HSE requirements.
  • Work with the sales team and management to further build on company reputation as a knowledge based company that provides technically superior service and equipment.
  • Work closely with the other departments within the branch to provide any required support.
  • Participate in training programs as required.
Qualifications
  • A strong technical background with Pump and Compressor experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in the service industry.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office).
  • Experience with service software.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills and capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
