Our client is a major supplier of products and services for the utility industries in over 100 countries. They have grown over the past 90+ years by nurturing excellence, safety, and teamwork. Safety is a fourth critical pillar of their business. The firm is seeking a Shop Leader who will be a critical member of their factory team.

Some responsibilities of the Shop Leader will include:

Managing production scheduling with optimal and the most efficient use of resources. Ensure compliance and monitor staffing needs.
Provide shop floor oversight to ensure excellence in manufacturing quality, and keep budgetary and time in line with business requirements.
Demonstrate a sustained record of responsibility and performance.
Enabling continuous training for new and current technicians.
Having safety and environmental considerations and regulations figure prominently in mindset and practice.
Ensuring efficient and effective work methods and scheduling.
Championing and implementing process improvement with a customer service orientation.
Fostering team spirit in concert with Company Values to maintain a successful Service Group within the overall organization.
This position carries P&L responsibility.
Bachelor's Degree required
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a similar manufacturing or service operations facility.
