Our client is one of the largest distributors of energy-related equipment in Canada with services offered Nationwide. We are looking for a technically inclined individual with a strong and well-rounded background to join a strong team of Technicians.
Job Title: Shop Technician
Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm)
Full time, permanent, benefits offered
Responsibilities Overview:
· Service and assemble delivery truck equipment, systems and accessories
· Repair, maintain, install, and trouble-shoot problems with customer mechanical and electronic equipment
· Exercise considerable independent judgement when troubleshooting
· Ensure proper maintenance is conducted on company tools, equipment and vehicles used
Qualifications
· Experience of formal training in an electronics or mechanical discipline would be an asset
Knowledge in welding/fabrication would be an asset
· Strong aptitude for mechanical and electronic systems
· Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Petroleum Handling Equipment would be an asset
· Ability to work independently to efficiently manage the assigned customers’ requests
· Excellent communication ability, time management and organizational skills
