Our globally present client is looking to add a Bilingual, Social Media Community Manager to their growing team! This role is perfect for the candidate with bigger career growth ambitions in the digital marketing space. Salary is between $55k-$60k. Work location is a combo of remote, until safe to return to office environment. Office is in Vancouver.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:
- Manage, populate, curate, and maintain content for accounts on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Contribute to the greater digital marketing team
- Design posts to create a buzz online around represented brands
- Manage the day-to-day activities of our social media channels including monitoring online conversations
- Develop and maintain a social media calendar, effectively engaging with the online community
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns
- Create monthly reports, including content performance and audience behaviors
- Leverage monitoring tools to analyze performance of campaigns and adapt strategies to improve efficiencies and effectiveness of campaigns accordingly
- Assist with competitor/market analysis
- Cross-functional collaboration: You will work across marketing, creative, e-commerce and operations to effectively share ongoing activities with the community
- Post secondary education and direct experience in social media community engagement
- Bilingual in English and French
- High degree of intellectual curiosity and the desire to stay on top of the latest online trends
- Experience managing social profiles and building a brand online
- Self directed and high sense of initiative but also able to effectively work across a team
- Good project management skills and the ability to stay cool in fast-paced and ambiguous situations
- A "get it done" no task too small attitude
- Intellectual honesty. You are just as likely to admit when your idea didn't work as when it did
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present information in group environment
