Our client is a leading global manufacturer of analytical equipment who is on the hunt for a Software Sales Representative. This professional can be located in Ontario or Quebec (home office-based office).

This role has national coverage with a focus on Ontario and Quebec and is the sole salesperson for the company’s software offering.

Pre-Covid times, the incumbent was required to travel 30-40% of the time across Canada so the ability to travel as needed is required. Day-to-day the position is structured as home office based so the incumbent can live anywhere in either Ontario or Quebec.

This role leverages existing relationships to expand business opportunities and generates leads for all business areas. It is a full sales cycle position requiring an in-depth understanding of workflows and their impact on customers’ challenges around productivity, throughput, quality, and cost and the ability to put together and present detailed, solution-oriented proposals utilizing consultative selling techniques.

This role is perfect for someone with a background combining life sciences and computer science!

To be successful in this position, 2-3 years of full sales cycle experience is required coupled with a BSc degree in a technical discipline (Chemistry is preferred), along with competency in computer science/software.
