Our client is a rapidly growing technology organization who has become the exclusive Canadian distributor for a major player in the drone industry and are on the Canada’s Best Managed Companies list! They are expanding their enterprise UAV and public safety solutions practice across Canada and are on the hunt for a customer-focused Solutions Engineer with strong technical expertise in commercial drone operations, field support, and enterprise deployments.

This is a remote based role offering a 4 DAY WORK WEEK all year long and requires travel across Canada as needed.

This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the UAV/drone sector working with cutting-edge solutions used across public safety, emergency response, infrastructure inspection, mapping, and industrial operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for enterprise drone/UAV solutions
  • Support customers with troubleshooting, deployment, integrations, and operational best practices
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical workshops, and end-user training
  • Collaborate with sales, vendors, and service teams to support customer success
  • Assist with solution design, technical presentations, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Support field deployments and occasional onsite repairs/configuration
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Maintain expertise on evolving UAV technologies, regulations, and enterprise workflows
Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in commercial UAV/drone technology, technical support, or solutions engineering
  • Experience supporting enterprise or public safety drone deployments
  • Knowledge of UAV regulations, operational standards, and flight safety
  • Familiarity with mapping, LiDAR, analytics, or drone data workflows is considered an asset
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing communication skills
  • Ability to travel across Canada for client engagements and industry events
  • Advanced Pilot Certification required; additional UAV certifications considered an asset
  • Bilingual in English/French strongly preferred
