Our client is one of Canada's leading distributors of HVAC systems for the residential, commercial & industrial markets. They are looking for Strategic Development Representative to add to the team.
This is a full-time entry-level position, where you will learn hands-on and receive the guidance, mentoring, and support you need to be successful in your career. You need to be hard-working, great with people, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment. The manager is committed and interested in investing in you – teaching you the business and the industry from the ground up. Whether you see yourself in sales, management, retail showroom, operations, or customer service, the Program will prepare you to create your ideal career. Successful graduates of the program have continued their careers in various positions such as Senior Account Managers, Technical Sales Specialists, Purchasers, Operations Managers, Industrial Profit Centre Managers & more!
Development Plan, Responsibilities, and Duties:
Phase 1 – Warehouse Logistics – You will learn the products we sell and how they get from the vendor to the customer and actively participate in the warehouse logistics role to understand and provide sales support.
Phase 2 – Operations – You will actively get involved and learn our front-line customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more…
Phase 3 – Inside Sales/Project Management – Over time you will go from helping customers with various customer service issues to managing large-scale, time-sensitive projects.
Phase 4 – Outside Sales/Account Management – You will learn how to find new business opportunities, sell our products, negotiate contracts, and build customer and vendor relationships.
Phase 5 – In this phase, you can take all of your training and determine your ideal career path. QUALIFICATIONS:

- Post-Secondary Education required (ie. Business, Engineering, Technical Trades)
- Positive attitude and a results-oriented mindset
- Work well in and support a team-based environment
- Work well with minimal supervision as this is highly Entrepreneurial
- Experience in retail, sports or running your own small business is an asset
