Supply Chain Manager

Our client is a leader in their field, who is looking to find a Supply Chain Manager for their operation in the Brampton/Mississauga region.

This role will oversee the day to day supply chain team's functions for our client, overseeing procurement, inventory and supporting forecast management, working closely with the sales, operations and warehousing teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee supply chain team management, development, and mentoring.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring product levels are maintained and reporting inventory risks as required.
  • Work with warehousing and logistics department to ensure inbound product are managed.
  • Work with forecast plan ensuring demand is accurate per historical.
  • Work closely with Operations to ensure inventory is at optimal stock levels.
  • Manage within KPI metrics for the position.
  • Role up your sleeves and work directly with the SCA team.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience working in a similar Supply Chain leadership role.
  • Background in Distribution would be considered an asset.
  • Previous experience of a supply chain analyst will be beneficial.
  • Diploma, Degree or Designation in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, APICS.
  • Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding or MS Office (Excel specifically) and working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Detail oriented, organized, with strong problem-solving skills.
