POSITION: Technical Field Sales Support Executive
LOCATION: GTA, ON

MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.

Our client is a leading provider of energy solutions and they are on the hunt for an experienced Technical Field Sales Support Executive to support the sales team from a technical perspective and interact with the customer base comprised of builders and developers. By using their technical skills, the incumbent will assist with the following:
  • Make product recommendations
  • Assess equipment needs
  • Deliver technical presentations to prospective customers
  • Investigate equipment issues
The ideal candidate will have knowledge in mechanical engineering, gas fitter (level 2/3) license and some experience in field service tech, HVAC, and sales.

This role comes with a company vehicle as extensive time will be spent in the field, primarily across the GTA.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Post-secondary education - mechanical engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of construction, builders, and HVAC is an asset.
  • Must have a valid Gas Fitter (level 2/3) license.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and strong business acumen.
  • Understanding of Salesforce CRM is an asset.
