POSITION: Territory Manager
LOCATION: SW Ontario (Sarnia, London, Kitchener, Waterloo, Niagara and surrounding areas)

MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.
Our client has been recognized as a top managed company and is a leading distributor of Pipe, Valves & Fittings (PVF) products in Canada. They are on the hunt for an outside salesperson to independently manage the Southwestern Ontario region including Sarnia, London, Kitchener, Waterloo, Niagara and surrounding areas with a focus on oil & gas customers. You would take over an existing portfolio to maximize and generate business from net new accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a technical aptitude with previous sales experience selling industrial products (preferably PVF products or related) to oil & gas customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:
  • Post-secondary education in Sales/Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline
  • 4+ years’ of sales experience in related industry; preferably with background knowledge in oil/gas and with pipe, valves and fittings (PVF) products
Skills:
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blue prints is an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal and negotiations/problem
    solving skills
  • High degree of accuracy with attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Self-starter, well organized with ability to multi-task and execute a plan of action
  • Available to travel on a daily basis, some overnight travel as required/requested
  • Possess valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
  • Computer literate with good mathematical skills

  • Base salary plus uncapped commission and mileage
