TERRITORY: Southwestern Ontario

MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies by acting as the middleman between job seekers/candidates and hiring managers to facilitate a direct hire.

Our client is a leading national provider of energy services and they are on the hunt for an experienced Territory Manager to further develop market share with residential developments in Southwestern Ontario.

The ideal candidate will have existing outside sales experience managing a defined territory, have experience selling to local residential builders, and lives in London, ON or surrounding area.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Strong focus on new business development with dealers, builders, and builder partners in defined territory
  • Management of entire sales cycle
  • Assist with sales strategy
  • Represent organization in local Home Builder Associations
  • Offer day to day support to developer and builder partners
  • Accountable for overall customer care and satisfaction
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • 3-10 years of progressive sales experience
  • Previous experience selling to builders is preferred
  • Ability to take initiative – a real go getter who can prospect and hunt
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be energetic and have a positive attitude
COMPENSATION:
  • 70-75K base salary plus uncapped commission = 130-150K in year 1
