This means that most of their portfolio are considered by many to be natural wines; all are made in an ethical and sustainable manner that considers their full impact.

Our client is looking for an experienced and specialized On Premise Territory Manager for it’s high image/key accounts in Vancouver, Whistler and Richmond, BC.

The ideal candidate will be experienced, highly organized, passionate about sales, a self-starter who can make important decisions without supervision, and able to work effectively as a team. They will excel at relationship building, lead generation and closing deals. They will be a quick learner with confident negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to find creative solutions to best showcase the portfolio.

This role offers a base salary, commission program, car allowance, and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promoting portfolio and introducing new products to the on-premise market through comprehensive understanding, customer education and strong communication skills
  • Identifying and communicating customer solutions to effectively reach your targets and goals
  • Implementation of new sales plans and marketing strategies such as featured products, by-the glass listings, product placement, event planning
  • Scheduling and planning effective routes to call on existing or potential customers
  • Relationship building with new and existing customers through regular visits, good customer service, and good problem-solving and negotiation skills and professionalism
  • Presenting and the ability to create presentations confidently, in person to small and large audiences and on video calls
  • Attending and organizing trade events, in-store tastings and private events, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required

Key Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years experience in local on-premise wine sales
  • An existing network of key wine buyers in the assigned geography
  • WSET 3 or ISG Certification
  • Passion for natural/organic wine
  • Strong oral, written, organizational skills and detail orientated
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
