Our client is looking for an experienced and specialized On Premise Territory Manager for it’s high image/key accounts in Vancouver, Whistler and Richmond, BC.
The ideal candidate will be experienced, highly organized, passionate about sales, a self-starter who can make important decisions without supervision, and able to work effectively as a team. They will excel at relationship building, lead generation and closing deals. They will be a quick learner with confident negotiation and presentation skills, and the ability to find creative solutions to best showcase the portfolio.
This role offers a base salary, commission program, car allowance, and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promoting portfolio and introducing new products to the on-premise market through comprehensive understanding, customer education and strong communication skills
- Identifying and communicating customer solutions to effectively reach your targets and goals
- Implementation of new sales plans and marketing strategies such as featured products, by-the glass listings, product placement, event planning
- Scheduling and planning effective routes to call on existing or potential customers
- Relationship building with new and existing customers through regular visits, good customer service, and good problem-solving and negotiation skills and professionalism
- Presenting and the ability to create presentations confidently, in person to small and large audiences and on video calls
- Attending and organizing trade events, in-store tastings and private events, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
Key Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience in local on-premise wine sales
- An existing network of key wine buyers in the assigned geography
- WSET 3 or ISG Certification
- Passion for natural/organic wine
- Strong oral, written, organizational skills and detail orientated
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
