Summary
The Territory Manager role is a multi-faceted field selling position responsible for the overall management of a designated territory and dealer management. The role collaborates with their manager in developing/implementing strategies to achieve annual business plan in both sales and volume targets. It also has an influencing responsible for targets associated with getting professional customers and key accounts to recommend the product portfolio. Territory Managers are expected to develop expertise in areas such as product knowledge and technical support.
Requirements
  • Complete ownership of territory relationships and annual sales targets
  • Participation at dental conventions and development of scale opportunities at local dental/hygiene associations & study clubs.
  • CRM management & maintenance, product sample accountability.
  • Build customer and distributor relationships
  • Travel, Evening and Weekend work is required on occasion
  • An engaging presenter and sales professional
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required for the position.
  • Preferred professional experience include: Dental or Oral care sales, Healthcare sales, Pharmaceutical sales, Consumer Goods, or a Science background
  • Have a strong computer (Excel/Word/PP) and analytical skills, exceptional skills in time management, sales presentations and data interpretation.
  • Valid Driver’s license, live in the territory with travel 30-35% required
