Our client is a manufacturer of power tool accessories with over a 40 year track record under their belt, they are a premier tool manufacturer in their category. The premise of the business is sustainability in a product group that is traditionally disposable. This process allows for better end results for the user, reduced downtime, reduced waste and a sustainable supply chain. The product is manufactured, remanufactured, and refurbished with extreme care in their 40,000-square-foot manufacturing facility. Drawing on decades of engineering experience, their dedicated technicians carry out extensive testing on every tool accessory and guarantee every product meets or exceeds their technical specifications.

The company is seeking a strong, service-minded Territory Sales Manager to service Oregon. Your primary deliverable will be to service an existing account base and develop new customers by leveraging their unique Environmental and Sustainable products.

You will be successful in this role if you are a motivated sales professional with experience in sales and business development. You will be motivated to win, eager to build relationships, and have demonstrated the ability to work independently as well as play an integral part of a team. You must believe in the mission of improving the user experience while improving supply chain efficiency.

This role reports to a US-based District Sales Manager and has an opportunity for career progression.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Introduce product assortment to new and existing clients across Oregon
  • Client types would include building supply stores, hardware stores, lumber yards, independent home improvement stores
  • Advocate the mission of the company in each call
  • Physically write and transmit orders in each store call, ensure customer satisfaction, and ensure that products arrive on time, as described
  • Conduct product knowledge sessions with store staff
  • Organize and attend customer-facing shows/demonstrations/events to educate and inform about the products
  • Be a product and company advocate in your territory
  • Uncover and engage new business while ensuring your existing business is well cared for

You should have the following in your background to apply:
  • Post-secondary education
  • Direct Store Delivery sales experience in CPG, B2B, DIY
  • A results-oriented, high-integrity individual with a track record of building strong long-term relationships
  • Clean(ish) driver abstract and clear criminal record
  • Ability to travel throughout your territory daily, and travel internationally on occasion
  • Professional demeanour and a connection to environmental sustainability and an interest in home improvement
