Territory Sales Manager

Our client, an established Wine Marketing Agency, is seeking a qualified sales professional to bring the world’s best wines to the Alberta market. This individual will represent their suppliers & brands across all channels. Reporting to the President, the primary role of this position is to expand distribution while delivering sales and profit objectives. We are looking for someone who already has existing relationships within the industry and is passionate about wine. This position is based in Edmonton, AB and will work from a home office. Preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • Strong, existing relationships within the wine industry;
  • A thorough understanding of the marque retail and on-premise operations in Alberta;
  • A proven track record of strong sales performance:
  • An interest in both developing brands/labels that are specific to this channel as well as working to build upon recognized international brands;
  • WSET Level 2

Other requirements of the position entail:
  • Effective oral and written communication skills;
  • A persuasive and energetic personality;
  • Ability to analyze statistics and strong computer skills along with good administration habits;
  • Problem-solving and creative approach to objections;
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven personality;
  • Able to set and execute high standards of performance.
