Territory Manager - Consumer Products - Fraser Valley

Our client is is a leading brand in the food industry. Due to an expansion of their business, they are seeking a high performing field sales representative to achieve top results, problem solve business issues on behalf of the customer, and work hard as part of a first class team of professional CPG sales reps.

Some of what you will do in this role includes:
  • Ensure you hit sales targets in your territory
  • Be a trusted advisor to your customer base, ensuring you are on top of market knowledge and product information
  • Optimize the in-store environment through effective shelf merchandising and securing of displays
  • Utilize fact-based selling tools and market information to secure new product distribution
  • Selling-in major seasonal promotions
  • Innovate and execute cross-merchandising ideas and exploit opportunities for sales growth
  • Create an well thought out business plan for your territory, built on a foundation of strong business fundamentals with appropriate costing on your plan
  • Provide marketing feedback on the effectiveness of marketing programs and deliverables
  • Ensuring effective direct store delivery of perishable products

In order to apply you should have the following in your background:
  • Post secondary education
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Able to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office
  • Solid oral presentation skills and written communication skills required
  • Possess a valid clean driver's license, and owns a vehicle
