Territory Sales Representative – Montreal, Quebec

Our client, a leading building supplies company, is looking for a Territory Sales Representative for Montreal, Quebec. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering profitable sales growth by executing a well established, successful, sales & service model.

What you will do in this role:

  • Expand distribution across the retail base to ensure appropriate distribution
  • Manage existing retail customers who are independently owned to ensure consistent execution of brand standards
  • Schedule and administer product training
  • Build demand for the products by interacting with contractors, architects & designers, property agents, and local authorities in a sales and support role
  • Provide on-site technical support
  • Maintain access to samples & product selection material
  • Plan and facilitate trade shows & product awareness meeting
  • Maintain records of all sales activity

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong business acumen and ability to drive new revenue streams while maintaining a strong and loyal customer base
  • A valid driver’s license
  • A passion for delivering sales & providing excellent customer service
  • Experience dealing with independent business owners
  • Be comfortable making decisions independently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • A professional manner and impeccable communication skills
  • Fluently Bilingual Required, written and spoken
  • University or College Diploma

A competitive base salary, performance bonus in the range 15% to 25% (uncapped), benefits, lunch allowance, company car, and RSP matching are offered. The role does require some attendance at evening and weekend events.
