This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer Based out of the Fraser Valley manufacturing facility. The Vice President-Marketing will be our Brand Champion, embracing and evolving our brand internally, through our network and with our marketplace – homeowner and professional. They will organize, plan, and implement the overall marketing strategies throughout the organization to meet business objectives and achieve maximum results. The incumbent will perform continuous evaluation and timely adjustment of our marketing programs in order to remain viable in changing markets, not being afraid to challenge the norm and try new and interesting paths. As head of the Marketing Department, and a member of the Leadership Team, the VP Marketing will lead the company’s overall strategic marketing vision, effectively demonstrate the organization’s corporate values, foster a positive corporate culture and working environment, and communicate appropriately and effectively with internal and external contacts at all levels.

Some of what you will do in the role of Vice President – Marketing:
  • Champion our brand, building understanding, hype and excitement with all intended audiences: Consumers, Industry Professionals, Network Partners and Internally.
  • Manage all creative development, messaging and collateral pieces at all levels, both internally and externally; conduct periodic reviews to ensure brand consistency in the marketplace and alignment with corporate customer philosophy.
  • Drive innovation and creativity to our corporate marketing, not afraid to try new and uncharted paths to achieving our goals.
  • Plan and successfully execute the company’s online digital marketing strategies ensuring all properties are considered and utilized to reach our target audiences, keeping up with emerging digital marketing trends.

Some of the Key Responsibilities:
  • Select, coach and develop a high- performance Marketing team, evaluating performance, identifying training needs, and recommending or initiating solutions.
  • Retain and Direct the services of advertising agencies and other outside vendors with a view to online market domination and enhanced consumer reach.
  • Develop, recommend, and implement short and long-range strategic plans, objectives, policies and programs for all marketing activities, including market and product research, advertising and new product launches.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the organization by active participation as a member of the Leadership Team.
  • Develop the annual Marketing budget; coordinating with other corporate areas to align long-range goals and strategies.
  • Build meaningful KPI’s to manage the effectiveness of our marketing spends, ensuring ROI reaches agreed targets.
  • Support influencer strategies with the Marketing Manager - Professional: including development of training programs, reporting product category and industry trends, and providing up-to-date educational content in support of various sales initiatives.

Some of what we require:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing
  • Advanced degree in Business, Communications or Marketing an Asset
  • Minimum 10 years marketing and 5 years in leadership
  • Demonstrated experience & leadership managing, mentoring and developing a high performing team
  • Sound understanding of all digital properties including web, social media & content development
  • Superior interpersonal & communications skills using all forms of communication
  • A positive & professional disposition & ability to maintain composure under pressure
