Our client is an innovative Saas company working in loyalty marketing and point-of-sale service industry and is looking for a VP of Engineering to join their team in Hamilton. In the role, you lead the Engineering Leaders to build products and strategic planning of new developments.

Responsibilities:

Manage business initiatives in alignment with key business requirements
Oversee Engineering Team Leads and Developers
Scale overall product development
Work closely with VP of Product
Hands on approach and assist with tier 2 support when necessary

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
5 years' or more experience in leadership position with Saas company
10 years' or more experience in engineering management or equivalent
Background in scaling up an organization
Technical experience with Ruby considered an asset
